(supposed to be posted on Sat morning)

Pardon the random thoughts. Need to clear my head.

Brain can't really function very well after 2 weeks of travel and heck of a day at work yesterday. Mind still spinning from the footage of the devastation of the earthquake in Japan. I just want to crawl into bed and stay there till the weekend is over.

Election is coming. Headlines screaming of revised policies that showcase the benevolence of the ruling party. News of disputes, ugliness, dirt on the opposition parties stream in. I don't follow the politics news that closely so pardon my ignorance but shouldn't the next election date be something that should be announced way in advance and not just a month before?? I still can't get over how petty our ruling party can be when playing the politics game.

People, please vote wisely. I seriously doubt there would be any change of hands in this coming election. But we definitely need to have less voices that mimic everything the ruling party says. But more who question the integrity and motives of policies. Because we did not have that for the last few decades, we are in the unique situation where the players, scoreboard keepers and referees are the same party. How fair can that be?

Received emails from colleagues and friends that they are well and okay from Japan. Breath out. Still watching the news very closely. Having just visited Japan and that it is easily my favorite country in the world, I am devastated by the news. Being a new Christian, I can't help but read and re-read passages from gotquestions.org to answer the millions of questions racing through my mind.

Work is piling up in the office. I did a quick to-do list on Friday before ending the week and my head hurts from thinking about it. Shucks. I want to go back to Scenery Resort.
